Sovereign Extinguishing
What Extinguishing Systems are Available?
Extinguish fires without the need for water.
Fire Suppression systems are active systems that detect fires and automatically deploy extinguishing solutions, most often utilising either chemical agents, inert gases or fine water mist.
Sovereign Extinguishing work with established suppression designers and suppliers to install and commission a variety of Fire Suppression Systems, including Gas Suppression Systems.
Through partnerships with leading UK suppression suppliers, Sovereign Extinguishing also deliver innovative solutions; FirePro Condensed Aerosol and WaterMist.
How do Gas Suppression Systems Work?
A Gas Suppression System suppresses a fire by releasing an agent that disrupts the action of the fire triangle. Inert Gas Systems reduce the Oxygen whereas Chemical Agent Systems cool the fire.
The release of suppression gas is triggered by the automatic detection of fire by two different devices. A ‘double knock’ (or coincidence) system verifies the existence of fire before the release of suppression gases.
WaterMist Suppression Systems.
Water is a traditional method of fire suppression.
WaterMist systems detect and suppress fire with minimal damage, releasing a fine spray to cool surfaces and decrease Oxygen available to the fire. Fine mist increases surface area to reduce heat without having to use large amounts of water.
With all water based options however there is always a concern about equipment damage and post discharge cleanup.
