New Business Development Manager – Extinguishing (Covering the Whole of UK)

The main focus of the Business Development Manager role is to target and develop key strategic relationships, achieve sales targets & grow profitability streams for Gas and Water Mist suppression capital projects and maintenance contracts.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Target and develop the sales of gas suppression and Water Mist systems into all applications where it is required.
  • Visit customers’ offices/sites where necessary.
  • Target new & existing sites to secure Gas suppression and Water Mist maintenance contracts and service upgrades/remedial works to keep existing systems compliant.
  • Generate quotes & submit tenders (training will be provided).
  • Build long-term relationships with potential customers for both projects and ongoing maintenance.
  • Undertake basic site surveys where required.
  • Obtain new business in line with overall company strategy.
  • Explore cross-selling Fire and Security opportunities with Sovereign Fire & Security Ltd.

Skills & Qualities Required:

  • Target-driven & sales-focused
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Full driving license required and willingness to travel throughout the UK and overseas when required

Package negotiable, subject to experience.
