Potassium, released by FirePro Aerosol solutions, reacts with the free radicals to form Potassium Hydroxide (KOH), a stable compound. As the free radical molecules are reduced and become stable compounds, the elements required for the chain reactions cease to exist, and the fire is extinguished.
Additional reactions occur during the dispersion of FirePro Condensed Aerosol Potassium compounds to ensure there is no harm to people or the environment.
